Here Today, Gone Tomorrow
Patches is gone and so is his nest! I've been calling out to him for several days now but he has not appeared. And then today the large nest that managed to survive Tropical Storm Irene was no longer there! And there have been no storms or real winds.
What in the world could have happened? Where could the nest have gone? Could Patches have packed up his home on his back and moved on? No! I can't believe it!
Oh where oh where has my Patches gone?
Squirrels are an eternal mystery.
