I went over to check on the squirrels today and was happy to see that table manners were back on the table. Squirrels are normally super-polite and will patiently wait to be fed.

I also got my first glimpse of God's little green apples - that is, the autumn acorns!
They haven't matured to the point where they're falling off the trees but they're already lying on the ground with their tops gnawed off. That must be the tastiest part :)
