Another recent walk around the grounds  found more dirt.

And where have all the squirrels gone? The areas around the old rose garden and ball court look like alien landscapes, with barely a squirrel in sight.  I have not seen Mother Red Tail for several weeks now. I'm wondering what happened to her? And what happened to her babies? I heard from someone that there were 12 rat sightings near the ball court. Could this have something to do with the disappearance of the shrubs, flowers and squirrels?

Hardly any flowering by the fountain 

But plenty of noisy equipment

to accompany the yucky smell of the fertilizer

More of the strange  "blue stuff"

In the absence of flowers
the blue color almost looks "pretty"

(BTW that's a red flag, not a rose)

Where lilacs once bloomed
